25' Wooden Boat Wreck (LU077), Lake Union, Seattle, WA — main photo

Overview

Shipwreck City Data

This target has been classified as a wood shipwreck, resting in 40 feet of water and measuring roughly 25 feet by 4 feet. The wreck sits low against the lakebed, with much of the interior filled with sediment and little deck structure remaining. Visible features include long sections of hull planking, exposed wooden structural members, and an upper longitudinal edge that may represent the gunwale and capping. Portions of the surviving hull rise above the surrounding lakebed, while other sections are partially buried. We are unable to determine the bow and stern from the available footage due to the condition of the wreck.
